Turning 35 in Adelaide with my sister by my side was such a blessing <3
For this birthday, I didn’t plan a single thing. I knew I’d be in Adelaide, but the rest was entirely up to my Sissy! Honestly, there is no better way to embrace getting older than just kicking back and letting someone else take the wheel. Cherry on top: my plus-one was right there with me too 😉
Had a full day of eating kangaroo—my ultimate must-have whenever I’m in Australia! We started strong with kind of kangaroo “salami”.
Then came the cake marathon. Sissy went above and beyond by ordering three whole cakes: classic chocolate, red velvet, and rainbow cake (which I hadn’t had it since Bandung over 15 years ago!). As children were involved, we slice them up immediately!
Then my plus-one and I headed to the city center for my pair of Uggs boots. Capped off the night by heading back for a proper kangaroo steak dinner.
Fly home with a suitcases of presents and a heart full of gratitude.
Blessed to be celebrated like that.
