März was all about family: the one you choose and the one you were born into. My parents finally got their Schengen Visa to visit me. It took all of us ~ complete package of four: me & my boyfriend plus sister & Schwager to plan the how, the when and the what. It shattered all of us to know our Mühe war für umsonst 🙁
Their flight got cancelled two days before they supposed to depart, leaving them no options to book with another airways as the price was skyrocketed, on top of that no guarantee if they can fly back home smoothly. We had to swallow the hard pill #They are not coming. I need to cancel our accommodations, tried to sell activities tickets such as football match, Neuschwanstein Castle, Friedrichstadts-Palast show.
How to make the best out of this situation? In order to “reduce” the monetary loss we still go on the route that was meant for them. Trip for four suddenly became trip for two. In the end, it’s all worked out, tickets were sold not in the original price, accommodations changed, only train tickets were not refundable. Although nervt is still there, I am realized what I had just gone through is categorized as ‘First World Problem’ , most important thing is everybody safe.
Having experienced those circumstances, I’m blessed to have my very green flag boyfriend, the one who never stops to mentally supports me during my break down.
He is the greenest of all ~ figuratively and literally 😉

My ride for life <3
