What a good way to say “hello 2018” from Japan!
I was in Japan-solo travelling.
It was the first time that I planned and actually did solo travelling, I was sooo nervous therefore I prepared everything far much in advance, what bus should I take, how to go to my hotel etc. But it’s turns out pretty nice
I met with my ex-roommate Eri Nishida, she came all the way from Osaka to Nagoya to meet me. Met with Kanako, we had sushi together. Met a new friend from Thailand named Kanawut Tongkak. We met at Shirakawago and he is a professional photographer, he took a lot of pics of me there and I was so glad to met him! Met a Pontianak guy, Anthony Salim where we stayed at the same hostel.
Even though I dont speak any Japanese, but the people there are so helpful!
Thanks to Ayaka for showing me where the hostel located, a very friendly receptionist Taku! and your wife and mom. A South-African guy Max Kasasa, if somehow I ever made it to Cape Town I’m sure I will bring my clothes for your step-sister. An Australian lady, Sam Gonano, you’re pretty girl! and I followed your IG haha. A Japanese girl, Haru (Im sorry dear I forgot your name if Im not mistaken this is your name) that learns Indonesian! Amazing! I should have learn Japanese as well. A Malaysian guy, Ben for showing me Nagano Na Sato. Another receptionist, very Japanese girl! Shiho from Okinawa, someday I’ll visit Okinawa. A very nice Philipines family that was talking with me through the time that we spent on waiting to get to the entrace while NYE show. A very cute Japanese little kid and mother that I met on the airport, that was so sweet and even made me an origami
Solo travelling really stores my faith in humanity and I’m not exaggerating. When you really have no one to travels with but then the act of some random strangers really made your day.
