Birthday is my thing, always planned it months ahead, except for this year, I’ve already known the ‘where’ 365 days in advance. How so? Last year I was at BinBin’s when he asked if I will come to his wedding celebration next year. When? 27 September. What?! It is my birthday! 😀
They chose a fancy restaurant in a middle of Stuttgart called Plenum, started at 15:00 for Kaffee & Kuchen ~ wow look at these Auswahl #Drooling! Managed to dropped down two slices. Right after, Mario said “I’m ready to switch to Alcohol, no kidding” 😉 A sip or… more sips of Alcohol free Sekt, moving on to food #Heaven!
Starts slowly with Salad, Pumpkin Soup…. all for the main course Rinderfillet!, dessert Marilleknödel is very good too! I’d call it… German Mochi haha. Mario’s time to switch into Alcohol has arrived, had Ma Tai (brauner rum, Mandelsirup, Zuckersirup, Ananassaft, Orangenlikör, Limettensaft) and Lav’a Belle Sour (Lavendel, Limettensaft, Zuckersirup, Zitrone, Rosmarin) After midnight snack: Goulash!
I was sooooo happy to have Mario, without him I would made myself busy with food for the whole evening, ended up foreseeable with Food Coma #Arbeitsunfall, we were the only two who doesn’t know any other people, which means: best friends right there and then 😉
Binbin and Andreas, of all 365 days in a year, the fact that your wedding party fell on my birthday is a nice serendipity. While I marked another year of my own journey, I also had the joy of honoring one of the most meaningful milestones of yours. As if that wasn’t enough, it was also a farewell as you embark on your new chapter back to China. What a gift to share many reasons to celebrate on one single day 🙂
