After 6 stressing months of work, desperation, frustration, I enjoy my wohlverdienter Urlaub back home 🙂 Originally contacted my friend Jenifer in Surabaya; Aldrich, Novi + Cyan in Bandung; unfortunately there is no time to meet you. I only stayed at Jakarta and Bali, had I have a job where allow me to work outside EU, you will be on my first visiting list! However, it didn’t be an obstacle, I made the best out of the days I’ve got, I reconnect with more people other than the OG a.k.a Darren and Evan 😉

She is veryyyy cool! the most nonplanned among all! our conversation was:

- (Me being clueless about Indonesian public holiday) hmmm I will meet two people, Darren and Novela but Darren will be later. You can join with Novela? She is also from Unpar.
- I don’t know her, well…. hajaarrrrrr
In the end, all the schedule works out, brunch Piko – Novela – Darren. I’m glad I have alone time with Piko, I am verrryyyyy proud you are buying a home, girlll!!!! how?!?! I looked for discounts for every stuff even a small one, whereas you just kaching kaching kaching! Thank you for the PemPek + Lipbalm for date 🙂
While waiting for my boarding house mama: Novela, we ware at Chagee Bubble Tea shop, so confident we were on the right line only to realized it was for Pick Up right before our turn. Yet everything happend for my own good…. Nono arrived just in time before we ordered, she’s got Chagee App = we got discount! #Money Wins.
I said to them, I want to get the bag from Chagee, it looks so good like a Christian Dior. When she picked up our drink, she mentioned it’s ‘to go’ , came back with bag on hand 😉 I was really begeistert with it, believing it could be an inspiration of me getting Christian Dior bag.
- How? you don’t even want to pay few cents for the Chagee bag. How would you think you’re gonna buy Christian Dior?
- Who was talking about buying? I said ‘I got it’. How do I get it? Well, I could steal it or someone give it to me.
- Who will give it to you?
- Sssshhh, manifestation manifestation!
Nono gave me her handmade Quiche, we ate it at Chagee #Feels like at our own home. After finishing it, Piko left us, next timeslot is only Nono and I. We also left Nono’s husband Randy out from the gang, he wonder around the mall himselves. After some time, we played game, if I can get Randy then somehow I’ll get the Dior bag. After one hour, I found him! See, manifestation is real!!!! I will have a Christian Dior bag, let me ‘warn’ you 😀

Second OG: Darren and Yeka
I know him since University, he has been my ‘go to’ people in Jakarta. He still remembers how bad I was with parking my car haha. My colleagues comment about how much food I eat, they haven’t met Darren and his wife. We started with sweet then to Korean place, boy oh boy I can’t eat Tteok-bokki, it’s too spicy!!! hahaha I’m so amazed that Darren now is a laoban of Japanese restaurant Nishiyama Katsu, best of luck! wish your place fully book every day!

My kakak kelas at the Uni: Merissa & Odong
These two are lazy in the Uni time! haha see how they turns out now, very discipline! Merissa is very psycho regarding what her kids eat as her boy have 65 allergies #I’m dying and Odong is running a.k.a owner of coffee shop! Thank you for all the snacks you’ve given me, Mer!
The biggest surprise was when you do a ‘deep’ convos about God or speaking about “those we can’t see”. How Odong always choose to walk through the dark forest other than the bright road full of truck driver.
Given a choice of being bothered by them or by “something invicible” she chose the later 😂
My ‘I cant move on from their childhoold’ Cousin.
They are my last cousins, I knew them since they’re very little. Even though now they are bigger than me, I still think that they are sooo small haha. They came to pick me up after I met Merissa and Odong. Where too? It’s already dark and rainy, we three are super indoor people haha nge-mall is our choice! Duduk duduk cantique while enjoying food. They always know a good food! Seems like they go out all the time 😉
I have no idea why we talked a lot in the car infront of my home, I thought they won’t get in but they did haha sorry! supposed to be more ‘peka’.
Parents were shocked because we stayed until late, father said: next time, bring your PJs, no need to go back home, stay here 🙂
My Swiss friend: Eka
I brought Ororo vest and Longchamp bag for Eka, only problem was the color of the bag was sooooo rare that it was sold out in Germany. I found it in Abu Dhabi Airport, so I collect goods for Eka the last and I’m meeting her the last haha #Consistent is key!
It feels really refreshing to talk with your friends and relatives, tried to catch up what is possible to be catching up. Although we don’t speak every day, went our separate ways, rest assured I’m only one call away #We need to lästern #Devil laugh, jokes aside:
- As we go on, we remember
- All the time we had together
- And as our live changes, come whatever
- We will still be, friends forever
