I tried to find a name of the famous painter in centuries that is close to mine. Among Michaelangelo, Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo and on and on I stumbled on Señor Pablo Picasso! and that’s how I….. (not met your mother) create Marblo Pracaso 😉
I finished (finally) the painting that Julia gave me as my Christmas presents. Originally we wanted to go to an Art Night but Corona said “hold my beer” and we are still holding it’s beer until now :-/ therefore she gave me this famous “follow the number painting” or whatever it’s called, I’m sure that name is incorrect aber na ja, egal, bottom line is I really like it! Not only because we have Corona so we can’t go anywhere but I genuinely good at painting #coughing 😉 Not drawing, just coloring either in form of paint or just normal color in drawing book’ stuff like that haha
However it is not as easy as how they said it on the Werbung, “just follow the number”, “everyone can paint” blablabla it is hard yo! Julia chose the painting of a tree divided into 4 seasons. Ofc I started with the cloud which is the biggest part but it was only blue, lighter or darker and I got bored pfffff I painted first 3 blue colors but the difference is just so little no one really can notice it. I was about to forget about it…. but what will I do anyway? I don’t have German class, weather is awful I can’t believe I’m still wearing my Übergangsjacke, time is the only thing I have sooooo einfach weiter machen.
I started to get more excited when I moved on to the leaves and I went really really fast when I was in the Autumn tree. The color is so me! yellow, orange, red 😉 and I was so determined to finish it within this month as I have been postponing it for so long.
Last tree is the Winter tree, only then I realized that this painting things wasn’t made by a German. The light blue color is simply not enough, I put many water in order to make it last till the end but it didn’t. In the middle of the drawing I finished all light blue and here is where the mind of Pracaso works. She is not following the number anymore, she’s following her heart haha! I covered it with darker blue, white, cream etc whatever works. It seems pretty good and acceptable 🙂 I just need to run through one more time to make sure that I don’t miss any spot. I cannot do it on my window anymore because my neck is killing me! so I taped it to my door and continue checking and painting.
As the tree getting closer and closer to finished, I was so happy and feel so satisfied.
I finally have some colors in my Wohnung! Yeay!
