I’m not quiet sure who I resist against with, probably against myself haha after so many months of pig out and no exercise while all my friends in Shanghai already back to their archery and pole dance class #facepalm
It is soooo hard to start doing something simple especially when you are not exercising since January! but at that time, the feeling is mutual, none of us well none of my friends done some exercise so let’s just be out of shape and fluffy together like a team spirit! Unfortunately the table has turned and I have FOMO so I need to keep up with them.
But what can I do? #dramatic I stare at treadmill machine that is exactly next to my bedroom and meh…. don’t want to step on that haha! I look at them in awe on how clean it is 😉 Then I lay my eyes on the other stuff which is a yoga mat! hmmm this something I can do! I downloaded many apps like yoga, NTC (Nike Training Club) you named it but the willpower is just not there… (yet) haha
Until I realized that I’m losing my split ability! whoaaa! No way in h$#l I’m gonna let it slip away! I started to look at youtube on how to do some splits and some exercise that I chose by myself mwahaha I’m not gonna follow all their crazy stretching 😉
So basically these are the exercise that I followed for about 1 min each and 3 reps haha! Yeap people I need to do it step by step, I have no endurance to do 30 mins exercise.
And voila! its not to bad to start with! I was only around 5cm max above the ground for my left leg, my right leg still able to do it after my own style of warm up 😉 and with a routine stretching for like maybe 10 days I was able to touch the ground.
Ofc I need to consult it with Alice! my pole sister 😉 She’s a German so she should know the rules on how to do it right haha!
Unfortunately even a German couldn’t find a word for it mwahah! but yeah I also feel a bit not straight so I followed her advice and doing it with a towel and socks and damn it hurts my knee! that towel ain’t help!
Then I consulted it again with Beni the most flexible girl in our pole dance class, she gave me the very extensive review but one thing struck me is “it can take some time” sooo… i’m quiet satisfied with it now 😉
I will remember her advise! and will I follow it? Yeah of course in my alternate universe mwaha just kidding yes I will! Then I asked the other Germans aka founder of Zero Gravity Johanna if this split is count as success and acceptable and…
