Where did the Praselis go for this summer?! We visited Europe HIP HIP HOORRAAYYY! My sister and my mom went one week early and my sister will continue her trip with her boyfriend afterwards while me and my parents will only be in Amsterdam-Belgium and Paris. I have been to these 3 countries before like 10 years ago mwahaha so it’s good to be back here 🙂
First stop was Amsterdam! When I arrived on 30th of May the weather is so cold! but lucky us the next day it was surprisingly warm and bright! yippiiiii! Amsterdam is full of beautiful canal and a funny dancing house
The boat tour from “Those Damned Boat Guys” is the best as we got 1.5 hour of boat tour and only 10 ish people on the boat so its more private, captain Joe is the most realistic captain ever 😉
Anne Frank House, better do the booking 2-3 months in advanced folks! as this museum is always full so sadly we didn’t go there 🙁
Next day we visited the village around Amsterdam which is Zaanse Schans, Volendam and Marken. Zaanse Schans is a very refreshing village as I would say, everything seems so fresh there!
There was a sad news while we were on Volendam, we supposed to go by boat to Marken but there was 3 houses on fire so we could only go to Marken by bus but I’ve had enough boat so it’s fine to take a bus 😉 We visited cheese “factory” and the wooden shoes “factory” even though both factory are small mwahaha I got a pretty cute wooden shoe which I wore the next day and gave me blisters all around my foot mwahaha! not sure if I will wear it anytime soon but it cost around Euro 47 so I’d better wear it more!
Time to hop on to another city called Haarlem, it’s a beautiful petite city! I like the windmill and the tour guide is very funny she kept saying “education continues” while she explained the history of the windmill, she’s quiet old, we were the last group (almost at 5PM) and she said “I have a bday party at 5” but she’s not hurried us up so we are still fine 😉
Last day on Amsterdam we visited Den Haag to Madurodam where I finally felt like a giant 😉 as on Madurodam we had all the miniature building in whole Amsterdam.
Then to Delft and Rotterdam! We visited the two churches on Delft unfortunately we went there on Sunday so the churches closed so we can only see it from outside.
Rotterdam, oh no! that’s a must! very beautiful big city, the market hall is amazing! full of food choice but still, once Indonesian still an Indonesian, we choose to have Indonesian food, I mean support our people yo hahaha
My impressions about Amsterdam is a mix feeling, I’m glad the weather was good, the canal is beautiful, transports is easy but but but!!! there is a latent danger here! and that danger come from BICYCLES! they are everywhere! like randomly come from left and right, it is so dangerous people! When we get off from Uber the driver said “Be careful the cars from your left side and be careful the bicycles from your right side” even one of the boat tour guy said the most dangerous things in Amsterdam is a tourist on a bike mwahaha
Seriously people! When everybody says “drive carefully” I think only in Amsterdam people could say “cycle carefully” or maybe “walk carefully” – because of the bikes 😉 but of course it doesn’t change the fact that I still like Amsterdam 😉
My father got a new hobby here, which is feeding the bird mwahaha I don’t know if we are allow to feed the bird but there is no sign written otherwise so….
Thanks for a beautiful memories Amsterdam! Hope I don’t need to wait for another 10 years to visit you again 😉
P.S: All pics were taken by my sister google pixel’s phone!
