Challenging July

Thorben signed me up for Elite Mode of Xiaker’s Competition.

It’s a running competition for 7 km and in the meantime you will have 30 obstacles to overcome.

Some are do-able (I think, considering the fact that I’m only 151cm with 44kg) like getting through bamboo etc and some un-doable (like monkey bars! I hate monkey bars!) So if you can’t do the obstacles you have to do 40-jump squats. Therefore, Thorben said that all I need to do is to practice 40-jump squats everyday and practice the handtrainer. I will for sure put his picture in here when we finished the competition. I still have one month, the competition is on 26th August.

This competition will take place in Moganshan, so far there are 17 other people that signed up as well and we all will do this challenge together. Well, not all, some people are advanced like Yves, Hutchs they will just go to race for the time. But me, Thorben, Leyfa we will do it for fun 🙂

​And because of he already signed me up, I went to Decathlon to buy all the body protection possible! Gloves, Knee pad, Elbow pad, Ankle pad and I spent for 400 RMB but then I thought, broken bones is cost more expensive than 400 RMB, so be it! And I went to the gym more, I can do run 3 km on the treadmill for 30 mins. I did the squat-jumps for 40 times a day.

​Of course I am nervous because my stamina wasn’t so fit as the other boys and girls. But honestly I am very excited because I always want to do this, not Sparta because Sparta needs to carry a lot of weight and I simply can’t do that and most of the boys did Sparta already and they will do a higher level than Sparta so I won’t have friends joining me. If I finish it, I will be very proud of myself and my checklist of physical exercise are done for this year or maybe for a lifetime haha because I think this is kind of once in a lifetime things 🙂
